The Vision of Amazing Grace Christian Center

.... "Then the LORD answered me and said: "Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

(Habakkuk 2:2 & 3)

Our Vision
.
.... "But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus." (Eph 2:4-7).

.... Amazing Grace Christian Center has been established by the Holy Spirit to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ through preaching and teaching the infallible word of God and demonstrating the reality of the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ through practical, spirit-led living. Our goal is three-fold:
.

1) To persuade men and women of all races and nationalities that the answer to all of life’s challenges is found only in the shed blood of Jesus Christ (Eph 1:7; 2:4-7; 2:13-14; Col 1:20; Heb 9:14).

2) To "equip the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ" (Eph 4:12). We believe that the purpose of the Body of Christ can only be achieved when the Body of Christ begins to thirst and hunger for righteousness, truth and holiness (Matthew 5:6; Eph 4:24).

3) To be a catalyst for change in the body of Christ by fostering unity among church leaders as the church prepares for the end-time harvest (John 13:35; Eph 4:13).
.
.... To fulfill our God-given vision, we will focus our teaching on five major areas:

1. Grace (Ephesians 2:4-7; Acts 4:33)
2. Salvation (Romans 10:8-10)
3. Spirit-led living (Romans 8:12-17)
4. Unity (Ephesians 4:9-16)
5. End-time harvest (Matthew 13:36-43)

Responsibility of Leadership
.
.... "I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding." (Jer 3:15). Our charge is to: "Preach the Word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching." (2 Tim 4:2). I commit myself, as pastor, to continual prayer and the Word of God, so that I will be strong and very courageous as I go in and out among the people of God.
.
.
Responsibility of Congregation
.
.... The congregation is responsible for praying for the leadership, committing to the church and supporting the work of the ministry. By being planted in this church, each individual will learn how to hear the voice of God, find their place in the body, and exercise their gifts and talents so that the body of Christ is built up.
.
.
Together
.
Together, we will grow in "the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ." (Eph 4:13). As we grow in grace and from glory to glory, we will affect change in our community, nation, and the world by presenting Jesus, the Risen Christ, to a hurting world.
